For this artwork "Ripping Through the Fabric", I wanted to create a type of black and white abstract drawing with heavy speckles of light via glitter and spray paint to create a type of space and urban touch. Different types of objects/elements/material bursting through a type of white hole fabric, with the black marker lines, both thin and thick in different places of the canvas representing the emergence of life; dark matter-like substance (unseen, yes, but using imagination), making an appearance along with the space and urban-like materials, this world coming from the darkest of pure nature, forming new forming area, challenging its own growth and transforming, lighting the once static area of this fabric with its eclectic collection of matter and materials. The placement of the light tan grain flower to represent a grounded experience, yet bountiful in its origin. The glitter and spray paint representing the hype and excitement of creation, exploration. The marbles representing different worlds displaying their own movement and trajectory into the vastness outside of time, hurtling through space. In conclusion, the goal of this canvas artwork was to create an experience of wonder and creation, where the image created creates a type of beautiful, galactic-like creature with the culmination of materials. Think of new worlds, existences, coming through the chaos, changed, yet, unchanged. Medium(s) Used: Acrylic, Marker, Spray Paint, Glitter/Glue, Glass, Beads, Sequence, Decorative Flower. Material(s) Used: Canvas. Month/Year: 04/2024. Hanging Hardware: Not Included. Signed: Artwork is signed/dated on front and on back.

Lauren E. Munroe, artist name Ednsphr, and I'm an artist here on the Saatchi Art website: . I enjoy writing, creating abstract art and making music videos as well as creating abstract tunes. I also utilize creative writing when describing my artwork and music videos. With my abstract art, I mostly work with acrylic (unless noted as mixed media), and I enjoy working with deep hues as well as bright mixtures that invoke strong emotions, that sometimes can be either pure passion from an artist-perspective abstraction, or pure abstraction that sometimes can't be named from an in-between like state of mind, feeling or body, a mimicking of the texture of touch from the surrounding environment. When it comes to my artworks that are mixed media, I enjoy presenting artworks that have interesting, yet complimentary interaction when it comes to texture and materials. I believe wholeheartedly that good artwork (even superior artwork), can be made from the most simplistic of materials, even unconventional. Thank you so much for visiting my Saatchi Art page, I truly appreciate it! I also sometimes incorporate my artwork within my YouTube videos on my YouTube channel!
