About the Artist

Magdalena Piwko-Chudzik

Poland

Magdalena Piwko-Chudzik is a visual artist whose practice explores the relationship between the body, memory, and lived experience, treating materiality as a carrier of inner states and emotions.

Working across printmaking, textile art, ceramics, and painting, she uses different media to trace what is fragile, ephemeral, and often invisible. Her works are conceptual and multilayered, leaving space for the viewer’s own interpretation.

She is the recipient of the First Prize at the “Human Image Exhibit” (USA, 2023), the Artistic Achievement Award of the Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship (Poland, 2024), a Special Award in the Robinsonada competition (2026), and a regional cultural distinction in the Pearls of Mazovia plebiscite (2026).

She graduated with distinction from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, earning an MFA in printmaking with an additional diploma annex in painting. Her works have been exhibited nationally and internationally and are held in private collections.
