My name is Oksana Milanich, I am an artist and portrait painter of angels. XV edition of the Florence Biennale — the international exhibition of contemporary art and design, taking place from 18 to 26 October 2025 at the historic Fortezza da Basso in Florence. My love for drawing appeared from the early childhood, and the first exhibition took place right on the wallpaper of my house in the same period. In 2022, I returned to drawing when my hometown was going through difficult wartime times. Drawing gave me the opportunity to calm down and focus on my inner state rather than the rockets flying over my head. I was able to overcome the anxiety that reigned around and within me. This refocusing gave birth to the idea of ​​creating angels as the main characters of my art, and I have loved drawing angels since I was a child, which was noticed by the people around me. I draw angels in the author's volumetric, multi-layered technique with shiny elements, which makes them unique I painted calm and peace when there was war around me.
