Ivan Tsupka, a Ukrainian contemporary artist, was born in Odessa in 1973. In the 1990s, he relocated to Kyiv where he became a prominent figure in the local contemporary art scene. He received his degree in painting from the Ukrainian Academy of Fine Art and Architecture in 1999, but currently focuses primarily on photography and new media. Ivan's works have been acquired by many public collections, including the Ukrainian National Museum, Odessa Fine Art Museum, and Museum of Odessa Modern Art, as well as numerous private collections around the world. He has exhibited extensively in solo and group shows at prestigious institutions and galleries throughout Ukraine, such as the Odessa Museum of Modern Art, Guelman Gallery, Pinchuk Art Center, Soros Center for Contemporary Art, and Brucie Collection Gallery, among others
