8° Giro di Sicilia - Ferrari's first victory. Many details are hidden all over the drawing. My artworks are not copies of old photographs. Work on one picture usually takes up to 2 months. Many hours of research and reference material to make sure I rebuild the car and environment exactly the way it was in that race. In addition, all fonts, logos and advertisements were used in those years. The race was reintroduced as a street race in 1948 for the first great motorsport event after the end of World War II. Igor Troubetzkoy and Clemente Biondetti on Ferrari 166 S with a 2-litre V12 engine won the race. The day after the race, the daily newspapers reported on the successful resumption of the classic Targa Florio. The first Ferrari victory in a sports car race was described as a big surprise. Igor Nikolayevich Troubetzkoy was born on August 23, 1912 in Paris, France, to Prince Nikolai Nikolayevich Troubetzkoy and Countess Yekaterina Mikhailovna Musin-Pushkin. He was one of Enzo Ferrari's first private clients. Together with Count Bruno Sterzi, he founded the Scuderia Inter racing team in 1947, contacted Enzo Ferrari, the Italian manufacturer and bought three Ferrari 166s, from the very first batch of 12 cars produced by Ferrari. Much later he founded Galerie Troubetzkoy in 1978 on Avenue de Messine Paris, which specializes in high-quality replicas of paintings. Architecture & Landscape: Toward the end of the race, having traveled about 750 km, drivers passed Mount Etna and the ancient city of Taormina. Organisation & Advertising: - Three years after the end of the war, was founded a new organizing committee Comitato Sportivo Motoristico Sicilano (C.S.M.S.) - The Automobile Club of Italy (Automobile Club d'Italia) logo. My motto Authenticity, precision, and historical accuracy in every brush stroke.

My motto: authenticity, precision, and historical accuracy in every brush stroke. My graphic artworks are made in the technique of ink graphics with elements of watercolor, in the style of old engravings and old advertising brochures. My style is based on detailed drawing and historical accuracy. My artworks are not copies of old photographs. The first motor racing events took place over 100 years ago and there is very little information about it. Work on one picture usually takes up to 2 months. Many hours of research and reference material to make sure I rebuild the car and environment exactly the way it was in that race. I always strive to depict historically accurately all the things and details of the event. I research archival documents, old photographs, publications and articles in newspapers of those years, and much more, to be sure that all elements of the picture correspond to the historical period: architecture, landscape, weather, specification and color of cars, clothes of drivers, mechanics and spectators, advertising, and so on. In addition, all fonts, logos and advertisements that were used in those years. Only after careful preparation, I start drawing. It takes a lot of patience, diligence and passion to paint such detailed artwork. Drawing such small details requires high precision and concentration.
