ABOUT THE ARTWORK
80th Street #1 (acrylic on canvas 11"x14") is the first of a series of paintings I am working on, which are based on urban architectural and landscape forms rendered in abstract geometric shapes. The overlapping translucent colors used revel a visual record of the creative process for each painting. There is no need for a frame. The canvas is stapled in the back and the painting travels around all the edges
