About The Artwork

▪︎ oil painting on linen canvas ▪︎ size 80 x 60cm ≈ 31 x 24”, depth 2cm ≈ 0,7" ▪︎ covered with a protective varnish to prevent it from dust and sunlight. ▪︎The painting is signed on the back and a certificate of authenticity is attached. Allow me to guide you into a contemplative realm with my latest creation — "A Faceless Portrait." In this original painting, a teenage girl, adorned with two delicately braided pigtails, stands with her back to the viewer, gazing pensively into the heart of a snow-laden forest. The faceless portrait becomes a canvas for emotions, allowing the viewer to project their own introspections onto the enigmatic girl. The absence of facial features invites you to explore the depths of your own emotions, resonating with the universal experience of contemplation and introspection. Her two braided pigtails cascade like elegant brushstrokes, framing the scene as the winter landscape unfolds before her. The forest, blanketed in pristine snow, offers a serene backdrop, creating a poetic dialogue between the girl and the enchanting winter expanse. Portraiture takes on a new dimension as the viewer connects with the silent narrative of the painting. The winter forest, portrayed with a nuanced play of light and shadow, becomes a metaphor for the unspoken thoughts and dreams that echo within the girl's contemplative gaze. This original painting is an invitation to explore the intersection of portraiture and emotion, where the girl becomes a vessel for introspection, and the winter forest sets the stage for silent conversations with one's inner self. "A Faceless Portrait" is a visual poetry of solitude, a faceless portrait that beckons you to join the girl in the quietude of her snowy contemplation.

I paint because for me it's a kind of meditation in which I lose track of time, designing and creating a whole new world that no one has ever seen before. Portrait is the most congenial form of art to me. It is incredibly interesting to observe people and visualize their actions and behavior, transforming them into images that can be depicted on canvas. Portraits of women are my special love. Women are ambiguous, mysterious, magic lurks in them. It's a bottomless world, like the rabbit hole Alice fell into. My paintings are not about female beauty, they are about her inner world, which is inhabited not only by angels but also by demons Sometimes I paint landscapes and flowers It turns out easily. Probably, painting them, I just relax :-).
