"Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans." -John Lennon The obsessive layering in this piece brings to mind a busy body, one that won't quit until satisfaction is achieved. The beehive represents our connection to nature, as well as a reflection of the lives we create in the process of doing. This piece is about my struggle with trying to maintain control during the chaotic times we all face in life. A realization occurred in the creation of this piece. The only thing keeping us from life are our fears. The future is inevitable but never there in the moment. Don't pay the toll on a bridge that you haven't crossed yet, you may never cross it to begin with...
