This artwork was inspired by the conversation regarding A.I , (artificial intelligence) Listening to such people as Joscha Bach, Elon Musk and many others. It may take a while, but when it happens we will ( potentially) witness the greatest period in humankind's history, or the worst. Personally I feel it's simply part of our evolution, whether it enhances us or destroys us. Nothing lasts forever. I have chosen two monolithic figures in the foreground, representing our A.I beings, and in the centre are humans looking a little lost and inadequate. While in the foreground there is an abundance of growth and enhancement going on. Overall I hope this piece exudes promise and peace/serenity to the viewer.

Marc Rayner Born 1959 in Wollongong, N.S.W, Australia. Currently lives and works in central Sweden. The integration of quasi architectural and natural landscapes forms the spine of my social, historical and political commentary. Neoexpressionism is my sphere of operation. It suits my temperament. The Neoexpressionist genre also accurately reflects the distorted paradigm in which we live.
