About The Artwork
The work is inspired by the anticipation of the summer air (a combination of water smell, freshly cut grass, field flowers, and possibly a tone of tanning lotion smell) and the feeling of going underwater with your head and then coming out of the water, feeling as if you've been reset and cleared up for new thoughts and feelings. The bottom right corner of the canvas frame has a slight bump - the outer corner is softened (without a sharp edge) at the lower part for around 8cm. This doesn't impact that painting.
