A sunny day Painting

The main aim of my work is to make semi-abstract paintings about the memory of a place I have visited and emotional experience I have felt there. My work starts from sensing my emotions in response to a particular landscape. I make drawings, record videos and sound, take photographs and write a diary. I try to search my memory of the place where I felt deep emotions and then paint the atmosphere of that place with reference to the documentary materials I have collected. When the landscape I have experienced is transferred to canvas, the shapes and colours are reconfigured, and I draw strongly on the way I feel at that time.
