Contact us.Miabo Enyadike is an international contemporary abstract artist with over 30 years of professional practice, based in Africa. Her work is collected internationally and positioned within the discourse of contemporary African abstraction.
Her practice centers on bold color fields, layered compositions, and expressive mark-making that examine emotion, movement, and human presence. She works primarily in abstract painting and ink on recycled smooth paper boards, integrating environmental responsibility with a rigorous, modern visual language.
Enyadike’s works are held in international collections, including two pieces from the Faces and Expressions of Women series in the permanent collection of the Musée de Peinture de Saint-Franjou, France. Her painting Chaos and Confusion was selected for an interdisciplinary arts education collaboration with public school districts in West Virginia, United States, where it was interpreted through sound-based compositions.
She is a recipient of the Ford Foundation Award and Grant for Contemporary Art (2006, Terakulture Nigeria) and the Exceptional Service to Fellow Artist Award (2017) from the College of Art and Design, Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.
Enyadike is also the founder and artistic director of the Artmiabo International Art Festival, AMIAF a Pan-African contemporary art platform established in Lagos, Nigeria, connecting artists, collectors, and cultural institutions across global markets.
Her work appeals to private collectors, corporate collections, and institutions seeking confident, expressive contemporary abstraction with established cultural and institutional relevance.
