ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This abstract colorfield painting is painted with high quality pure pigments in a watery acrylic dispersion in multiple layers. For the first layers a bluish red pigment is used. The next layers consist of a reddish blue pigment so that with increasing darkness a reddish dark violet is created. The layer surrounding the red floats between the dark and the light shapes. The painting comes on a 65 mm strong wooden stretcher frame. The sides are painted. An additional frame is not required. The artwork is ready to hang.
