Abstraction 55 Painting

I am a painter and photographer based in Zaragoza, Spain. For many years I worked on figurative paintings, but some years ago I started painting colorful abstract paintings. They are expressionist and geometric works. In all of them, emotions are the main subject. These paintings talk about feelings, try to tell stories. I tend to use bright colors in order to create vibrancy, dynamism and optimism. My paintings are a hymn to the beauty of nature and life. In my last works, I am experiencing with the combination of a painting and photographs in black and white. I call this collection "Emotional landscapes". In them I'm looking for a new interpretation of the landscape through the dialogue between photography and painting. My preferred mediums are oil and acrylic on canvas and I generally paint on hand stretched canvas. I also do limited edition photography prints on canvas. My work has been exhibed in solo, group and traveling exhibitions, and is hanging in private collections over the world.
