This is an action painting by Joe Kotas of Chicago. The artist embeds images into the paintings via his "Pseudorealistic Methodology." The viewer is not subject to the same image which burns in his retina, but rather sees different relationships every time they look at the painting. The artist believes the most interesting work is that which leaves it up to the viewer's subjective processes to see what the painting contains.
