When I saw her again on the cover of National Geographic was Apr. 2002, the title was " Found". I remembered her on the cover model of N.G in 1985 photographed by famous photographer, Steve McCurry in a camp in Pakistan as Afghan refugee. And I got shock how she changed for 17 years since then....

Ever since I discovered the great impressionists like Van Gogh, Cezanne, and Gauguin as a child , I wanted to be a artist. Since then, I have realized that painting truly is the thing that makes me happiest and has kept my passion for life going. My life has taken me through many roles such as working in sales, intenaional import/export, being an art director for a local gallery , and getting multiful successful food business off the ground and sold . While I am now proprietor of a small cafe , my heart has remained belonging to art.
