ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece is inspired by the style and pop art of Andy Warhol. I wanted to convey Warhol's style from a African-American perspective using the African masks in different color schemes. I wanted to use as many colors as possible to attract the eye and warm the heart. Afro-hol 2 is currently in a national exhibit at d'Art Center, Norfolk, VA Piece is a gallery wrapped canvas with hardware ready to hang.
