I use a variety of materials in my work, including acrylic paints, oil pastels, embroidery, beads, and acrylic markers. I don't make sketches as I prefer to paint directly on the canvas, which allows me to be more spontaneous. This large-format painting is painted to the edges, making it ready to hang right away.
