"Alilí Floral Landscape" Painting

Andrea Segura is a Mexican contemporary artist based in London, known for her colourful abstract floral paintings and expressive use of colour.

Working primarily with acrylic on canvas and linen, Andrea creates vibrant compositions defined by organic forms, layered colour and a strong sense of movement. Her work is deeply influenced by her Mexican heritage, drawing inspiration from nature, traditional textiles, huipiles, ceramics and the vivid visual memories of growing up in Mexico.

Her signature Floral Dance series explores flowers beyond their literal form, using them as a language for memory, belonging and the emotional connection we create with home. Through spontaneous marks and flowing compositions, Andrea's paintings balance bold colour with moments of calm and negative space.

Now living and working in London, her practice reflects the dialogue between her Mexican roots and her experience of building a home abroad. Her original paintings bring warmth, joy and character to contemporary spaces while maintaining the expressive, personal quality at the heart of her work.

Andrea's work has been exhibited in London, including The Other Art Fair, and has been featured in curated selections on Saatchi Art. Her paintings are held in private collections internationally.
