This artwork presents a visually arresting abstract composition that asserts a dominant presence through its bold use of color and texture. Set against a flat, vividly saturated magenta background, the central feature commands attention with an intriguing blend of rugged and smooth textures. The central motif, rendered in shades of deep cobalt and cerulean blue, appears to burst forth from the canvas, breaking through the flat magenta expanse with striking, jagged edges. The blue focal point is characterized by an organic, almost neural network-like pattern, suggestive of dynamic energy and vibrant motion. The cracks and fissures extending from the central blue mass create a sense of tension and movement, as if the image captures a moment of explosive creation or disintegration. This dynamic interplay between the colors and textures is further emphasized by the meticulous layering of paint, which adds physical depth and a tactile quality to the piece. This work stands out for its innovative use of contrasting but complementary colors, as well as its arresting textural details. It simultaneously conveys a sense of both harmony and discord, stability, and disruption. The confident execution and the bold visual statement make this piece a compelling study of the interactions between form and color, surface and depth. The artwork's unique characteristics invite viewers to engage deeply, evoking varied interpretations and emotional responses.

I have come to a realization about myself and my art. I am impatient and I have need for instant gratification. I get frustrated with time consuming traditional techniques and want to skip ahead to the end. These are the reasons that I am a series artist. I like to experiment with an idea or a technique until I am satisfied with the result. The inspiration for my work is in trying the new techniques. Having freedom of expression and not being limited to one style or technique of making art are paramount to my identity as an artist. I love the many different processes of making art and experimenting with new ways of creating art. My inspiration stems from color, music, literature, and the excitement about the unknown possibilities of taking everyday objects and using them in a way that differs from what the manufacturer intended. I use a combination of found objects, acrylic paints, and aerosol paints to create abstract patterns on wood and canvas. Some of my methods include combining different chemicals and paint on paper or in plastic or wood box frames and using centrifugal force and gravity to distort vivid colors that are mixed or thrown right on the canvas. The result is the distortion of lines and contours, and layers of translucent or opaque paints on the canvas or in random patterns.
