I had visited Jeonju City in South Korea during Autumn. The weather and scenery there was just serene. The changing colors of trees was just intriguing. This is just a small depiction of my experience there.

I grew up in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. I came back to India 4 years ago. I currently live in Chennai. I have done my masters in international banking and finance from Strathclyde business school, Scotland, United Kingdom. Bachelors in commerce from Womens' Christian College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and my entire schooling from Muscat. Prior to pursuing my art career, I was working with the World Bank Group in the finance department from Chennai country office. I am a budding artist, and my inspiration comes from life's experiences, God's wonderful creation of nature and people around me. I have travelled to many countries over the years. The bright weather, the smell of rain, the colours of spring, and the purity of water were imprinted on my heart. I really wanted to share these locked memories with the World so people could see the world from my vision. I mostly prefer working with the acrylic medium on canvas, wood and terracotta. I have tried a few other mediums but comfortable with acrylic. I also do Lippan art (Indian traditional art with mud and mirrors). I really love painting on terracotta pots. My art is self-taught. I just paint my emotions into my artwork. The colours I use, speak a lot about my emotions and feelings. Some carry beautiful memories whereas some carry scars, some signify lessons learnt and status of mind. I really like speaking to the world through my work. I am a girl of limited words. Art and I have a special connection. Art is very therapeutic and relaxing to me. I really hope that every person who sees my work will feel relaxed and calm.
