And It Was So Painting

"The Earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters." Genesis 1:2 That said; science is pretty convincing that Earth as we know it wasn't really created in seven very special days. Not literally. At least not in days that are 24 hours long like we have come to know them. Maybe Earth was created in seven "God days"? Each God day might be billions of hours long... so the writers of the scriptures put Creation into a context we can better understand. A week of hard work, then one day off. The Big Bang Theory is sound but still leaves unanswered questions. There is ample evidence to substantiate the incremental geological changes that have taken place over time, and you can argue opinions all day about animal and plant evolution but it happened. There's proof, but that still doesn't explain what happened during all the "God days" BEFORE the beginning of time on Earth. Just because it's beyond our ability to understand Divine Creation doesn't mean it couldn't have happened that way. In fact, it's the only explanation that makes sense to me. Hold a newborn baby in your arms and tell me you don't believe in Divine Creation... This piece is framed and ready to hang in your home or business.
