Angels In Hell is an abstract piece belonging to the Spring 2020 collection, and can be hanged in four different orientations. Depending on your chosen orientation, you may get a glimpse of a snowcapped mountain, waves, wings in the depths of the abyss, or something else entirely. Artist's Commentary: Sometimes, when we look at our society, it is easy to only see the ugly: the dangers, the greed, and the injustice that has spread throughout our systems and permeated our lives, every wrong rising incessantly, as waves in the ocean. But within the chaos, there is always something else - an act of kindness, a flicker of hope, or a defiant voice within us saying, simply, "This is not how it ends." The cornerstone of this painting is one of defiance; it is an homage to the resilience of the people, who see the ills of the world but choose a life driven by courage, hope, and strength. Like all pieces in the collection, Angels in Hell was created on gallery-wrapped canvas stretched across a wooden frame and is ready to hang. All artworks are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and are shipped without a decorative frame. Delivery will be by courier to all destinations worldwide with tracking number provided.

Jane Peng is a London-based artist originally from Hong Kong. She primarily create my abstract works with mixed media on canvas. Although art has been described as a form of self-expression, personally, it is more important to Jane that her art is something of a dialogue with the viewer - that which intrigues and poses questions, drawing different answers from person to person because the viewer brings their identity and story to the table and are an active participant in the interpretation of the work. Jane Peng's paintings often reflect an element of transmutation. Having moved homes 18 times before she turned 20, change has been an ever-present element in her life. She is fascinated by both the disruptive and revitalising properties of this inevitable part of life. Thus the themes of turmoil, change, and resilience lie at the heart of her work.
