Aquamarine Painting

Bilyana Stoyanova is a Bulgarian artist who has been living and working in the Netherlands, since 2017. She was born in Ruse, Bulgaria and graduated from University of “St. Kiril and Methodius” – Veliko Tarnovo, graduates in 2001 with master degree in fine art with the class of Prof. Nikolay Ruschukliev. She has lived and worked in Athens, Greece, for more than a decade, where she participated in exhibitions with International and Greek artists and organizations, including UNESCO. Since 2017 she started as an independent artist and her paintings reached a very wide audience. The creative process involves a balance between intuitive work and careful deliberation. She applies paint layers upon layers and often incorporates mixed media into the paintings such as Metal leafing, Charcoal, Ink to give each painting a unique mood and depth. Minimalist structured landscape, palette knife and expressive brushstrokes artworks. Her impressive, contemporary paintings are being sold in many countries worldwide, mostly in the US and EU.
