Ardhanarishwar - is a composite androgynous form of the Hindu deities Shiva and Parvati. Shiva is one of the supreme beings who creates, protects and transforms the universe. Parvati is the Hindu goddess of fertility, love, beauty, marriage, children, and devotion; as well as of divine strength and power. In this painting I have depicted them both completing each other creating this beautiful universe. I chose to use acrylic as it is durable, versatile and fast resulting. I enjoy working with acrylics. I am sure this painting will also bring in your life more positivity, power & love the way it did in mine.
