Hello, I'm Youyeong Seo, an artist who shows how we live in various relationships.
The 'house' that appears in my artworks is the symbol of people of this era. Since a house is a space that goes through all personal growth and changes, such as going through childhood, adolescence, and adulthood, the personality and values of those who live there are intact. Based on this idea, I express my house as a person with my own personality and values.
Since people cannot live alone, they interact with others and build relationships. And I want to express various relationships with the color and composition of the house. Depending on the artwork, ropes are sometimes used as a medium to express this connection visually. We all live in a society that is never easy, like the rough Matière based on canvas, but we want to send a warm and positive message of hope through the bright colors of small houses.
