ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I used to live and work in Budapest, a city of contrasting styles which had suffered from years of neglect, now being put right. There are countless streets with arched doorways, many of which, like this one, are in the wonderful Art Nouveau style. Sadly, this doorway is neglected, with broken windows, crumbling frames and graffiti, but still makes a delightful composition. Contemporary watercolour on 300gsm 100% cotton hot pressed paper. The 14 inches x 10 inches paper is surrounded with a 16inch x 12inch picture mount in Vanilla, framed in an 18 inches x 14 inches Bronze and Gold Flat Taeda Pine Picture Frame
