At the end of the corridor 29.1x 43 inches 74x110cm At the end of the corridor is painted with Acrylic paint, Inktense and Caran d'Ache pastel, on a cotton Edition Canson paper 320g primed with gesso, it is varnished with UV protection satin varnish signed on the front, and will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity. I paint not in a style, but following a path of exploration. It's been some time now that I wanted to paint bigger, so I found that paper which is really great to paint on. I wanted to feel free with the gestual. I wanted to release energies, even more now that I have a wounded wrist for more than a month, large size allow me to keep on with the painting.

It always starts with an intention. I am a French painter, born in Provence, I now paint and live in the Languedoc Roussillon, still in the light of the South of France. Abstraction has slowly become my medium for sharing my mood, my emotions, there is no limitation, no boundaries with lines and colours, with shapes and tonalities in the abstract world. I am not afraid to change and explore new techniques, I have sometimes the need to explore new visual feelings. My definition of Visual Feelings is what you can feel when you are staring at something, the way it moves you, the way you are filled with feelings which can't be explained. My focuses while painting is the movement, the composition, the colours but, also the surface itself, smooth, board, paper, or textured, canvas, heavily primed surfaces etc...which will increase the pictural effects. The use of the colours is directly linked to the mood, to the environment such as the seasons, the weather, linked to what I have seen and what has fascinated me a way or another. Time is too short and I can't be caught up in a style that would define me even if I know my artist friends can recognize my work at first sight. There are too many things out there that I want to explore. I suspect that my comfort zone in Art is to have none.:) Thank you for visting my page!
