“Avida dollar” Painting

Breton lives through his famous quote about Dali and his greed for fame and its corresponding, money. “Avida , is inspired by the sensationalism and desire for provocation of Salvador Dali, as a resource to be in public opinion through the medis and sell his works; it is the use of the media as the extended languaje of his art; the work questions that sensationalism that leads to show off and provoke for the love of dollars. The reproduction of the banknote also propose a quedtion about those dollars that at the time had the backing of gold, and that today lack said backing.
