After several semesters of Engineering at the University of America (Bogotá, 1968-1969) and Architecture and Urbanism at the National University (Bogotá, 1969-1976), he studied Engraving and Painting techniques at the same institution (1978-80), and at the Ramírez Castro Workshop (Bogotá, 1982). He completed his studies in Architecture at the Technological Institute Of Seoul (South Korea) (1985-87). He is currently dedicated to art and literature, having written articles on culture and painting for several decades, and the books Days that were also life, The Unknown Einstein, Loving the Jackal's daughter, and the poetry book Daydreams, in execution, of which the present poems are part.
