About The Artwork

"Don't look like that! It looks better than you think," whispered Ezra in his ear, the smart leader of the cute little Lakos with the curly tails. But that didn't really convince him. A migraine came over him, because in his opinion, it didn't look good at all for the young couple. "Duziduziduuu, what a cutie you are!" exclaimed Herold delightedly, but the squirrel took frightened flight. Meanwhile, his pregnant wife Elisa was told by the old woman about the future: "A splendid little fellow you will give birth to. He will take the hearts of the people by storm and bring you great wealth." The crazy Carloco with the wide grin pricked up his ears. Was the old woman talking about great wealth? He rammed his elbow into the side of his buddy Baldo, the trickster who sat dozing next to him. And together with the cool El Bandito, they crept closer. They listened to what the old woman had to say and soon made a plan. They didn't want to let the young couple out of their sight, and they wanted to steal the gold from them that the little one would earn. But they had made their calculation without Dorin and the good spirits. The mounted dwarf accompanied the couple day and night on his unicorn, followed by the merry plant spirits. Over the years, they helped the young family to be on the sunny side of life with their humor. And so they quickly realized the joy of sharing their wealth with the poor. What story does this painting tell you? On YouTube you can watch a video of this artwork: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjJReoILWJc The Banditos, 2-part Original Artwork. Mixed Media Painting with Acryl on canvas, each 60x80 cm, total width 120 cm. Was siehst du in diesem Gemälde? With my art I want to make you smile. My paintings radiate joy and ease. Together with the stories I write for the big formats they stimulate your fantasy and invite you to step into my playful world. Hello, I am Suraya Baumeister, born and raised in Heidelberg (Germany) in 1976. I studied landscape architecture in Kassel and Palermo and after living in Karlsruhe for a few years, I moved to Switzerland, to Lake Maggiore in 2010. During my studies (1997-2004) I started to paint abstract, preferably with a spatula. My individual painting style started to form in 2017. The abstract paintings I do are acrylic/mixed media on canvas. I paint them intuitively. Through the abstract painting I get inspired to draw the faces, figures, mythical creatures and elements. What stories do you see in the paintings?
