My art celebrates Life, Nature and the inherent human Resilience! In my journey of self discovery through art, I realized that the power to heal, to be happy, to deal with situations in life.....is all already within us. When we connect with our deepest self, we realize this power and manifest it.My passion is to create art that resonates these beliefs, empowers and brings joy! Working in layers,I try to represent the myriad emotions and stages that we go through in the process of evolving. Watercolors and Acrylics flow and blend effortlessly, creating soft,calming effects. Symbolisms and intricate repeating patterns are an intrinsic part of my style. My process is mostly meditative and intuitive and I believe in letting go and enjoying the creative process. Madhupriya Srinivasan is an Indian born artist, currently living in Dallas, Texas. A creative atmosphere at home during her growing up years and a rich experience of different visual and performing arts from her travels started her on her art journey. A professional Fashion Designer, her passion for Art, made her immerse herself into her lifelong hobby and become a professional artist. Her art has been exhibited in numerous juried art shows at The Gallery 8680, Frisco Discovery Centre, Cotton Mill Mckinney, Blue House Too and Irving Art Gallery. Madhupriya's art has won many awards and has been collected around the world in several countries ....India, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and across the United States.
