ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I love to paint the ocean in its endless variety. My hope is that this artwork creates a calm, reflective mood to aid in relaxation. I used a limited palette of blues and browns to harmonize the piece. After doing many studies at Carpenteria of the rocks and ocean waves I went home and kept my sketches for a few years. Sometimes, my art takes a while to percolate. Especially if it is a piece where I want to create serenity. This is a work on canvas paper which is varnished and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
