ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I love colour theory and the use of dimension and blending. I like playing with all sorts of mediums and textures. I'm fortunate enough to live in a beautiful part of the world with lots of beaches, mountains and trails, which inspired this piece. I use various types of brushes, mediums (acrylic, oil etc) and try to blend and layer them to create different types of textures.

This is where I began to get interested in photography, colour theory and the use of dimension and optics. The artwork started out as a photograph where I use light, shadow and colour to create an image, I then layer to add dimension to create a sculpture out of a photograph.
