I painted this picture during my confinement when one of the most popular festivities of my city, La Feria de Sevilla, was approaching. Where women dress up in flamenco, dance sevillanas, life moves to the fairgrounds where there are booths, lanterns, horse-drawn carriages, light and color. This year after two long years we are finally going to live it again.

I have been fond of drawing and painting since I was a child. I currently live in Seville where I studied at the University of Fine Arts and with different artists. I am attracted to the human figure, especially women in the world of fashion. I also love the everyday scenes of my homeland, Andalusia. And the seascapes of Tarifa and Formentera. When I enjoy and feel the most, it is painting the scenes lived with friends and family in these places that inspire me so much. I try to capture the essence of the human being on the canvas, so that when I look at it, it transcends the canvas and connects with the spectator.
