While creating this little painting I was contemplating about my journey of becoming an artist and how it all started for me and the feeling of flow and fun and I experienced. Year ago, when I was still living in California and participating in the waterfront outdoor art fair in Santa Barbara, one of the first paintings I completed and sold quite quickly after its creation, called Nouveau Monde (https://www.saatchiart.com/print/Painting-Nouveau-Monde-ii-of-ii/499285/4079403/view) really made me feel like I was truly becoming the artist I wanted to be. This new piece brings back the reminisce of pink-gold and a simplicity in its earthy almost aerial view of ocean and beach. It's calm, subtle energy has a delicateness to it, something we feel when we are beginning….
