Before Summer Ends Painting

My grandchildren inspired this work when visiting the beach with their parents, and I received a photo on my iPhone. I hope viewers will see the appreciation that even children have for beautiful coastal areas and feel fortunate for the freedom to visit these beautiful, calming environments. I chose the watercolor medium because of the many cooling and warming hues, subject matter, and setting, which is the beach. The style depicts, in a very natural way, innocent children enjoying the sounds of ocean waves crashing, the seashore's gorgeous shells, and other unique rocks that can be used as keepsakes. This was a fun, inspiring art composition endeavor.
