Society binds and restrains us in many ways. The 'Being, Bound' series of works explores this, using drawing and painting in metals and other substances bound and enclosed within sheets of cast glass. Being, Unbound shows a nude female figure, working with exuberance to free herself from this plaque. The figure is created from a drawing, executed partly in bronze, colored with cobalt and copper captured within thinly cast glass, laminated to canvas and framed. It's ready to hang.

Now, in retirement and long out of monastic life, his artistic practice has greatly expanded, including glass sculptures and canvas works in private and public collections worldwide, mostly to commission.
