ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The continuation of the collection of travesties of the masterpiece 'The Taking of Christ' by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio. The fragment shows Jesus and the unknown man, the witness of the betrayal of Judas. The whole attention of the viewer is focused on the gesture of hand. By making it very illuminated, I tried to show the most important feelings which may be expressed only by the earliest technique of human communication, which stays for me inexhaustible source of inspiration.
