Between the Green Lines Painting

Rob van Heertum was born in 1974, Tilburg, the Netherlands. Growing up in a creative and entrepreneurial Dutch family he was always surrounded by "the love for creation". Illustration, Photography, Printing and Design were part of his life education. Since creativity was part of every day life, he followed another route in his education, which was technical and business orientated, to learn more about the processes behind creativity and production possibilities. Together with his father, he runs an award winning international design agency (founded by his father in 1971), specialising in packaging design for some of the world's leading brands. He had exhibitions in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, Hamburg, Moscow and New York and continuously travels the world working on many creative projects, which form the source of inspiration for his personal art creation. Next to running the agency, he creates his acrylic art, from his personal art studio in Breda, the Netherlands. It's a way to freely express all his day-to-day impressions from around the world, the different cultures and amazing experiences, where a life of creativity has led him.
