Between the wall and the edge Painting

In sum, while the work is certainly abstract in the sense that it does not depict recognizable objects or scenes, it is also deeply influenced by my interest in formal language. This gives the paintings and drawings a unique character and sets them apart from the more purely gestural or expressive forms of abstract painting per se.
