Andriy Kopchak was born on 28 February 1986 in the town of Truskavets in Lviv region in the family of the artists Yuriy and Vira Kopchak. The artist began his creative career in 1999. The first solo exhibition of graphic art "Black-and-White Play" was held in the Gryphon gallery in Kyiv. Since 2008 A. Kopchak has been a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. In 2010-11 he worked at the illustrations for the book "First Steps to Happiness by Mary Güner. In 2015, the winner of the first prize of the international festival "Imperial Arts" will be held. In 2015, he was awarded an honorary diploma for the service given to Ukraine. Dedicated to the 15th anniversary of creative activity. 2013- 2016 he is a participant of the charity auctions "Happy Ladoshki". The artist is experiencing an interesting, full creative inhalation period, is a participant of more than 100 All-Ukrainian, international exhibitions, fairs, art festivals, pleener. Works are stored in public collections: the Museum of Ethnography and Folk Crafts, Lviv, Ukraine. Museum "Drogobychyn" d. Drohobych, Lviv region, Ukraine. Museum-workshop I.P. Kavaleridze, Kiev, Ukraine. Museum of TG Shevchenko, m. Toronto, Canada. State museum. Kasteiva, м. Almati, Kazakhstan. At present, the artist is living in an interesting period, full of creative inspiration. He has participated in more than one hundred All-Ukrainian and international exhibitions, fairs, art festivals and plein-airs. The artist’s works are kept in public and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, the USA, Canada, Germany, Austria, Kazahstan, Israel and other countries. A. Kopchak works in oil painting and graphic art; also he makes illustrations for books. The artist creates his own pictorial world in the small resort town of Truskavets.
