Many say this is the most majestic painting of the Big Bang Theory. The painting has a black frame to enhance contrast. This is a one of a kind worldwide. Brushstrokes are heavy with deep texture creating an impression of 3D. This painting will inspire & provoke thought and many conversations at home, office, business or museum.

It’s my goal is to continue painting themes to enhance Celestial and Astronomical events. I follow my instincts and develop my own techniques to assure my art is genuine. Because my paintings have layered texture hard to duplicate with technology, I believe my originals are positioned to gain value. I have been told my paintings provoke inspiring and philosophical thought about one’s place & purpose in the understanding of the Universe. My paintings have sparked philosophical and spiritual conversations! During the 90’s he worked as a free lance cartoonist and gained experience working with the late syndicated Cartoonist Eliot Caplin (brother of Al Capp). He also worked with Bill Langley, senior cartoon illustrator for Walt Disney company. His works have been published in several New England newspapers. Throughout his adult life he pursued interest in Astronomy and purchased high quality professional telescopes. It was this experience that inspired his desire to paint celestial themes starting in the late 90’s and provide the public with a unique perspective of the motions, light, mystery of the Universe. Alex’s art has been shown in local galleries in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, specifically next to the famed Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MassMoca) and Clark Art Institute. His paintings were shown and sold at a successful group showing at the Rutledge Gallery in the corporate district of Dayton, Ohio. Online his paintings are featured on the Saatchi Gallery. I mostly paint with acrylic then oil on thin wooden board. Often, I will add water color or colored pencils over the oil and acrylic to build up multi colors and a perception of more depth to make my paintings unique. I also apply heavy layers of acrylic paint to create thick texture before using oil paints for color richness. The result is that people say my paintings look inspiring and nothing like they have seen before. NOTE - Any artwork marked as not-for-sale, means it's been sold. I keep the image up so you can request or commission me to make a very similar painting or request a print.
