I am a self-taught artist based in Belgium. I began painting more than ten years ago, before stepping away for a period to focus on my professional life. I returned to painting six months ago, and it has since become an essential part of my daily life. Through years of experimentation and personal exploration, I have developed an intuitive and expressive approach to painting, centered on color, energy, and emotion. Painting is for me a space of freedom and presence. I am deeply drawn to color, movement, and the energy that emerges through the act of painting. I can work for hours, sometimes in complete silence, sometimes accompanied by music, depending of my state of mind. Each atmosphere leads to different gestures, rhythms, and emotions on canvas. My work is intuitive and expressive rather than planned. I paint first for myself, as a way to feel grounded, nourished, and stimulated. What interests me most is the dialogue that can arise between the painting and the viewer - how each person can see something different, personal, and unexpected.
