ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A simple play on words describing people grouping, our tendency to want to know what is going on "over there". I, like most of us I think, have always been fascinated by people watching and indeed people who watch people. The painting moves from dark to light with a slight suggestion that things are always greener on the other side. I have included several pieces of collage that I have created myself. This is a standard practice for me. I draw incessantly and add my drawings to my artworks when and where I find an analogous situation has occurred. This painting is supplied with a stretcher frame for assembly on arrival.
