Birds Sing Painting

The "Birds Sing" is one of 13 paintings from "Rara Avis" series dedicated to endangered and extinct birds. The Regent Honeyeaters (Just 300 individuals in The World) lost 90% of their habitat which led to the loss of their song. The male birds ended up learning songs of other species, but female birds do not mate with them because of the "weird" song, which also leads to extinction. The Woman Image in the background depicts mother nature and collage itself represents flaws in our Communication with Mother Nature. She tries to speak to us, but we do not understand, we forgot the Language.
