This painting is inspired by gene editing/sequencing in blood. The ovals abstractly act as symbols of single cells, enzymes and proteins free floating in fluid cytoplasmic space. The ovals with horizontal lines in them represent the gene editor cells, or 'bitter red pills' to try to fix the black dna chain in the background. You must be a passionate lover of red, for this piece is rich in color and the combination of acrylic underpainting with oil paint on top adds to the luscious depth of this painting. Carving into the paint, hints of yellow, purple and green can be seen pushing through in simple lines. All artwork is one of a kind, wired and ready to hang, signed and dated on reverse, and comes shipped with a letter of authenticity.
