This painting done from a memory. I wanted to catch a moment in time. Just a thought, but what would happen if the cage swings back? Is it a whole different composition of chaos. Maybe the cat grabs the cage and hangs on as it swings into the girl, knocking her off the stool. No, none of that happened. Lots of space between the girl and the cage. It was, and still is a peaceful composition. Framed the painting measures 18 3/4 x 22 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches.
