This piece has an acrylic background with an oil foreground. It combines brush and pallet knife techniques. My work focuses on pure abstraction, and I don't always know where my ideas stem from. In hindsight, I believe this piece is a manifestation of my involvement in alternative/gothic culture. While producing the piece, I was preoccupied with texture and depth.
