About The Artwork

We, The Ignorosophists, were founded to follow, live and dream a certain philosophy - The Ignorosophy. Our creed builds upon ignorance. Ignorance towards the contemporary system of art. Ignorance towards attempts at finding deeper meanings, certain purposes and intentions in works of art. Being ignorant in the above mentioned way, however, opens doors to unrestrained creativity and emotions. It allows us to express ourselves in an honest and direct way, which, in turn, makes possible what we think is the main ambition of our endeavor - to enjoy art in every possible way! This work is a spontaneous result of my lack of interest in any kind of determined and controlled action. It is an open and unrestricted attempt of inspiring the mind of any viewer. The Work is signed on the back with a dedication to the buyer and a high quality aluminum frame is included. Color of the frame can be chosen according to preferences. Black is recommended.

We, The Ignorosophists, were founded to follow, live, and dream a certain philosophy -- the Ignorosophy. Ignorosophy, as one might guess, builds upon ignorance. Ignorance towards the contemporary system of art. Ignorance towards attempts at finding deeper meanings, certain purposes and intentions in works of art. Ignorance in the face of extensive interpretation, questioning and the setting of borders. And most important of all, ignorance towards following trends and expectations. Being ignorant in the above-mentioned ways, however, opens doors to unrestrained creativity and emotions. It allows us to express ourselves in an honest and direct way, which, in turn, makes possible what we think is the main ambition of our endeavour -- to enjoy art in every possible way. Being ignorosophical. Being Ignorosophists. Who we are: Felix Dörflinger and Teresa Wieltsch
